Ezekiel 33:29-31

²⁹ Then shall they know that I am the Lord, when I make the land a desolation and a waste because of all their abominations which they have committed.

³⁰ As for you, son of man, the sons of your people are talking about you by the walls and in the doorways of the houses; and they speak to one another, each saying to his brother, “Come now, and hear what the word is that comes from the Lord.” ³¹ They come to you as people come, and they sit before you as My people, and they hear your words; but they will not do them. For they do the lustful desires in their mouth, and their heart goes after their covetousness.
